USING THE APPLIANCE
The Chocolate Fountain requires minimum assembly. Suitable for milk, dark or white chocolate
and butterscotch (you can use cheese however it would need to be diluted with either white
wine or cream to keep it liquid as per normal fondue). For best results, the chocolate needs to be
60% cocoa, any higher percentage will require you to add more vegetable oil to thin the mixture.
1. Before first use, wipe out the base of the bowl with a damp cloth and then dry.
2. Return the auger to the base making sure it is securely locked by aligning the
opening on the bottom of the auger to the motor base pin.
3. Place the machine on a flat stable surface near an electrical socket before
turning on, ensuring the cord is not near any water source. Ensure that the
machine is level.
4. Plug the chocolate fountain into the main power.
5. Test the motor function first to see that the auger turns and the heater works.
Turn both off after testing.
6. Turn the heater button to ON (switch left for the motor and right for the
heater.
7. Fill a microwave bowl with 24oz or 675g of chocolate chips/chunks and ¾ of a
cup or 175ml of oil. Place in the microwave for 1-3 minutes until the chocolate
melted.
9. Carefully pour the melted chocolate into the bowl at the base of the unit, filling
so its level just before the rim.
10. Turn the motor to ON. The melted chocolate should be sucked under the
tower through the propeller shaft. The chocolate should then
start to come down
the fountain tiers.
