Take off hex bolts (116) securing the front

cover and remove the locating pin retainer
(107).

Tur ning the locating pin hex nut (121)

(clockwise) and pull out two locating pins
(106).

HOIST

(10) Using the jacking screw taps provided in the

front cover (102), jack the front cover evenly and,
by carefully lifting it using a wheel crane or similar
equipment, remove it.

CAUTION: B e c a re f u l n o t t o a l l o w

excessive force to act on the

bearings.

HOIST

(11) Remove the rotors (201) and (202).
Because each rotor is integral with its shaft,

screw an eyebolt into the end face of rotor shaft
and, hoisting by a wheel crane or similar
equipment, slowly slide it in the direction of twist
until out.

NOTE:

Mark individual thrust rings (207) with

identification marks to ensure their cor-
rect installation with respect to respective
rotors at assembly.

Individual components are now accessible for inspection.

(12) For further inspection, proceed to disassemble the bottom cover according to the procedure given below:

Place the meter body sideways.

②

Take off hex bolts (116) and separate the bottom cover (103). The bottom cover and bearings are now

accessible for inspection.
