9.1.2 Sensor Unit Removal, High-Temperature Type
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
Refer to Chapter 10, Exploded View and Parts List
on pages 30 and 31.
(1) With preamplifier disconnect lever drawn,
separate the meter body from the preamplifier
(Fig. 9.5).
CAUTION: Use care in separating
the meter body from the
preamplifier for they are
coupled at the sensor
connection (connector).
(2) Disconnect sensor leads from the preamplifier at
their connections (Fig. 9.6).
NOTE: Be sure to separate the connection
(connector) while holding it with fingers.
Do not pull the meter body to separate.
(3) Take off hex socket head screws (M4) holding the
radiator fin assembly and remove the radiator fin
assembly from the adapter (Fig. 9.7).
(4) Remove O-ring (209) (Fig. 9.7).
(5) Take off hex socket head bolts (206) and remove
the adapter (204B) (Fig. 9.8).
(6) Take off socket head bolts (203) (Fig. 9.9).
NOTE: Loosen bolts evenly and progressively.
Take precautions against internal pressure
in this pressuretight component.
(7) Remove the sensor unit (200B) from the meter
body (101) (Fig. 9.9).
