SERVICING
For servicing, contact your authorized dealer or the printer manufacturer.
The manufacturer’s name, address, phone and fax numbers, and website
information appear at the front of this manual.
REPLACE RIBBON PRESS ON LINE MESSAGE
Replace ribbon and resume normal operations
The printer has the ribbon count option set to monitor ribbon usage.
Pressing ON LINE after ribbon replacements automatically resets the
counter.
For further ribbon count information, refer to Ribbon Menu, Page 35.
DEAD PRINTER
A completely dead printer normally means a power problem. Power could
be either not supplied by the power outlet or the printer has a blown fuse.
Outlet Power
Plug something (a lamp, for example) into the outlet. If it has no power,
the circuit breaker may be tripped. Check the circuit breaker; reset if
necessary. Attempt to determine the cause of the power failure.
Printer Fuse
Turn printer OFF and disconnect power cord. To check/change the fuse:
1. Open fuse cover with a flat-tip screwdriver.
