Check socket alignment
CAUTION
Reduced strength of the check socket
Falling due to breakage of load-bearing components.

When a check socket is combined with a longer side rail assembly and shorter shell
assembly, it may only be used subject to complying with safety measures, e.g. walking
between parallel bars.
INFORMATION
For the alignment of the check socket with a desired socket length, the longest possible shell
assembly and longest possible side rail assembly always have to be used.
The check socket is fabricated with the components named above, similar to the fabrication of the
definitive socket.

Follow the steps in the sections "Cutting off and gluing in the fabric adhesive strips" up to
and including "Screwing the bottom plate to the connection adapter".
Inserting the liner
A liner from a previous device or the 6Y200=* Varos liner may be used.
To use a 6Y200=* Varos liner, follow the steps in the instructions for use.
INFORMATION: The Varos liner trimmed for the check socket cannot be reused.
Complete the following steps to insert the liner (from a previous fitting):

Screw the magnetic cap, threaded version
(see fig. 1, item 2) to the M10 connection
thread of the liner (see fig. 1, item 1) with
the corresponding countersunk screw.
INFORMATION: The liner must have a
connection cover with a central M10
connection thread.
INFORMATION
The optimum socket length may change depending on the chosen liner. This socket length must
be observed for the final fitting with the product.
