Care of the Cel-Pak (B4 only)
The Cel-Pak contains several FLOAM® cells. These must be removed prior to washing.
The cells are color-coded, on the Cel-Pack. The foam in the Cel-Pak must also
be removed prior to washing. Re-assemble by placing the color-coded cells in the
corresponding color-coded pocket i.e. place red cells in the red pockets etc., unless
prescribed otherwise prescribed by a trained seating specialist. Hand wash FLOAM® cells
in warm, soapy water. Rinse and pat dry.
Care of the Composite Shell (all backs)
The composite material may be cleaned using a mild soap and water. The shell should be
completely dry before replacing the upholstery and reinstalling it into the chair.
Should the Composite Shell get scratched or nicked, it may be restored to its original
condition by smoothing the area with a fine grade sandpaper. With a soft cloth rub a small
amount of baby oil over the sanded area. This will renew the original surface appearance.
Washing instructions for the Otto Bock Breathable† Back:
Breathable Cover:
machine wash warm, tumble dry low heat.
Do not bleach. Do not iron.
Breathable foam cushion: hand wash in warm water with a
mild detergent (do not use ammonia based detergents). Air dry.
Do not bleach.
Note: The fabric of the Otto Bock Breathable Back may snag or dent when it comes in
contact with sharp or hooked objects (such as hook and loop fasteners or jewelry). Such
cosmetic changes will not affect the breathable quality of the fabric.
I. Limited Warranty
Otto Bock HealthCare (Otto Bock) warrants all of its products and fabrication services, to
the original purchaser, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty
applies, subject to normal wear and tear, when the products are used as intended, without
unapproved modifications, following all Otto Bock instructions and requirements; and when
they are fitted by or under the direct supervision of certified/licensed practitioners who
meet all Otto Bock product-specific training requirements for a given product.
The duration of our Limited Warranties varies by product and service, but all are effective
from the date of delivery to the patient. When indicated, the duration of the Limited
Warranty for some components may be extended when incorporated into a finished
device in which all of the components are manufactured by Otto Bock and installed in
conformance with all Otto Bock recommendations. Otto Bock’s sole obligation under
this Limited Warranty shall be to repair, replace, or refabricate at no charge, or to refund
the cost of the system or component thereof to the original purchaser, at Otto Bock’s
sole discretion. The specific terms and conditions of the limited warranty for the following
product(s) are as follows:

This limited warranty does not cover test sockets, or damage due to accidents, neglect,
misuse or operation beyond capacity, parts damaged by improper installation, substitution
of parts not approved by Otto Bock, any alteration or repair by others that, in Otto Bock’s
judgment, materially or adversely affects the product or part.
