10.1 Information on Re-Use

Theproductissuitableforre-use.

creasedstrain.Featuresandfunctionsmustnotchangeinawaythatcouldendangerpatients

orotherpersonswithintheproduct’slifecycle.
Basedonmarketobservationsandthecurrentstateoftechnology,themanufacturerhascalcu-

latedthattheproductcanbeusedforaperiodof4years,providedthatitisusedproperlyand

thattheserviceandmaintenanceinstructionsareobserved.Periodsduringwhichtheproduct

isstoredatthedealerorwiththethirdpartypayerarenotincludedinthisperiod.Itshouldbe

clearlypointedout,however,thattheproductisreliablefarbeyondthisdefinedperiodoftime,

providedthatitiscaredforandmaintainedappropriately.
Incasesofre-use,thecorrespondingproductmustfirstbethoroughlycleanedanddisinfected.
