Recommended tools:
4Y492 protective cap, tweezers with rounded tips, Loctite 454 adhesive
(636W145), Loctite 770 primer (636P4), isopropyl alcohol (634A58),
protective gloves.
1) Remove the prosthesis.
2) Use tweezers with rounded tips to remove the glued protective cap from
the housing of the rotation adapter.
3) Remove the protective cap.
4) Clean the area around the release button and the groove in the housing
and check for damage.
5) Use sandpaper (220 grit or finer) to sand adhesive residue off the rota­
tion adapter (see fig. 4).
6) Clean the inside of the new protective cap (see fig. 2) and the exterior
gluing surface of the rotation adapter (see fig. 3) with isopropyl alcohol.
7) After the marked areas are dry, apply one coat of primer to the new pro­
tective cap (see fig. 2) and the rotation adapter (see fig. 3).
8) Allow the primer to dry for at least 60 seconds and no more than
60 minutes.
9) Apply a few drops of adhesive within the marked areas (towards the
groove in the housing) of the rotation adapter (see fig. 4).
10) Slide on the new protective cap with proper alignment (see fig. 5) and
lightly press the protective cap into place for about 15 seconds at the
positions of the adhesive dots.
9 Cleaning
1) Clean the product with a damp cloth and soap.
2) Rinse the product with clean, fresh water.
3) Dry the product with a soft cloth.

INFORMATION: Do not store the product while moist.
Allow to air dry in order to remove residual moisture.
10 Disposal
This product may not be disposed of with regular domestic waste in all juris­
dictions. Disposal that is not in accordance with the regulations of the coun­
try where the product is used may have a detrimental impact on health and
the environment. Please observe the information provided by the responsible
authorities in the country of use regarding return, collection and disposal
procedures.
