2.3 Contra-indicaties

2.3.1 Absolute contra-indicaties

Niet bekend.

2.3.2 Relatieve contra-indicaties

Bij de volgende indicaties is overleg met de arts noodzakelijk: huidaandoe
ningen/-letsel;  ontstekingen;  hypertrofisch  littekenweefsel  met  zwelling,
roodheid  en  verhoogde  temperatuur  in  het  gedeelte  van  het  lichaam  waar
het  hulpmiddel  wordt  gedragen;  ernstige  spataderen,  in  het  bijzonder  met
veneuze  insufficiëntie;  lymfeafvoerstoornissen  alsmede  zwellingen  met  een
onbekende oorzaak van weke delen die zich niet in de directe nabijheid van
het  hulpmiddel  bevinden;  sensibiliteits-  en  doorbloedingsstoornissen  in  de
onderarm en de hand, bijv. bij diabetische neuropathie.

2.4 Werking

4085 Thumboform Long

De bandage stabiliseert en ontlast de duimgewrichten. Ze kan pijn verzach
ten.

4088 Wristoform

De bandage stabiliseert en ontlast de pols. Ze kan pijn verzachten.
