Controlling the mode switch
The receiver mode switch can be locked to FM only or FM+HA, making
the receiver tamper resistant. The default setting of the 3-position switch is
unlocked.
To change the default setting to a single function:
– Choose the desired function (use the buttons to navigate)
– Press Sync
– Press to save and exit
– Press C (clear) to exit without saving changes
Many of today’s hearing aids have an automatic DAI detect function
that allows the receiver to be controlled by the hearing aid controls.
In this case, we recommend locking the receiver on FM+HA. On R7
the mode is operated with the Sumo DM switch.
