Adjusting the gain
Amigo receivers have a gain adjustment range of 30 dB. The default setting is
+12 dB in “FM only” and +12 dB in “FM+HA”. However, to achieve the correct
setting with a specifi c hearing aid, we recommend performing an FM verifi ca-
tion using a test box.
To achieve the optimal gain:
– Use the buttons to navigate and change the gain value
– Press to save and exit
– Press C (clear) to exit without saving changes

Amigo delivers the signal to the hearing aid at 74 dB, with a +12 FM
gain default. The hearing aid then delivers the signal to the child at
86 dB due to the FM gain.
Note that in “FM only” mode, the hearing aid microphone is attenu-
ated 20 dB.
