DTX 1800/1801 TIG 

8.2 TIG-welding 2-stroke 

 

1. Press the button "MODE" until the LED signal "Tig 2t" appears 

2. The display will flash for about 2 seconds and shows the letters "Tig 2t" 

3. It lights up the LED for the set voltage 

4. The LED of the switched arc is off 

5. It lights up the LED for the welding current 

6. Welding current regulation: With the Potentiometer you can set the welding current, which 

is shown in the display.  

7.  Regulation  of  the  Slope-down  time:  Please  press  the  button  "FUNCTION"  until  the  LED 

"t2"  lights  up.  The  display  flashes  and  shows  the  letters  "Sld".  With  the  potentiometer,  the 

value from 0.1 to 10 seconds can be set. 

8.  Pre-gas  regulation:  Please  press  the  button  "FUNCTION"  until  the  LED  for  the  gas  pre-

flow lights up and the display shows the lettering "PrG". With the potentiometer, the time for 

the gas pre-flow from 0.1 to 2 seconds can be set. 

9. Post-gas regulation: Please press the button "FUNCTION" until the LED for the gas post- 

flow lights up and the display shows the message "PoG". With the potentiometer, the time for
