FEATURES
Thank you for choosing the Oster Food Slicer. The Food Slicer has been designed to help
you prepare meals, cheeses, vegetables and breads for sandwiches, salads, deli trays and
more. The thickness gauge allows you to vary the size of your slices. The safety button
ensures that your hands stay clear of the blade during operation. The special suction feet will
keep the unit steady during slicing. Gather all of your slices on the convenient collection tray.
The unit has been designed for easy storage, too.

PREPARING TO SLICE
1. Unwrap cord from bottom of slicer, and insert into outlet. Position slicer on a clean, dry
and smooth surface. Fold down olatform. remove food collection trav from its storaae
position and put it under the blade’at the back of the food slicer.
2. Place food carriage on platform. The ridge on bottom of food car
riage should fit into slot of platform properly. Move food carriage
back and forth a few times to ensure proper movement.
3. Place food pusher on back of food carriage.
4. Select the required slice thickness by turning thickness adjusting
knob clockwise for thicker slices and counter-clockwise for thinner
slices (Fig. 1).

1, Plug into 120 volt AC outlet.
2. Place food to be sliced on food platform between the carriage and the thickness guide.
Then pull food carriage toward you with left hand (Fig. 2).
3. In order to start the appliance press safety button with right hand thumb and ON/OFF but-
ton with index finger and keep both depressed.
4. When blade is rotating, keep thumb protected behind thumb guard when holding food
pusher. Push food carriage forward toward blade. Move tray back and forth steadily.
Keep food gently pressed against guide for even slices.
5. When finished slicing, unplug unit. For safety and blade protection when storing, turn the
thickness adjusting knob to align thickness guide with blade.
