Problem Possible Cause What to do
Lost vacuum. Seal-In is leaking. Visually check the seal and/or liner
for damage, change if necessary.
Use the syringe to check if the
vacuum is holding.
Unity Socket Valve is
leaking. To check for this, seal the valve on
the inside of the socket with a
silicone pad and use a syringe to
check if the valve works as
intended.
The tube is not fully
inserted. Make sure the tube is fully inserted
onto the inlet port and the Unity
Socket Valve.
Duckbills are incorrectly
installed. Inspect if the duckbills are oriented
in the correct direction and change
it if needed
(Fig. 8) .
The socket is leaking. Use the provided syringe and the
associated equipment to check the
vacuum in the socket.
Noise and/or lost
vacuum. The yellow warning
label has not been
removed from the
pyramid of the foot. Remove the yellow warning label,
torque according to specifications
(see the adapter instructions
for use).
The female pyramid is
incorrectly connected to
the male foot pyramid. Readjust, apply Loctite 243, and
torque according to specifications
(see the adapter instructions
for use).
The tube is leaking. Change the tube and fit according
to instructions.
Inlet and/or outlet port
have become loose. Apply Loctite 243 and torque the
inlet and/or outlet port to 4 Nm.
Make sure the tube is correctly
installed upon the inlet ports
(Fig. 8) .
Spectra sock restricts
the functional
performance of the
product. Refit the Spectra sock and make
sure it is fitted accordingly
(Fig. 9) .
CLEANING
Clean the components with a damp cloth and mild soap, isopropyl
alcohol or Iceross
®
Clean&Simple Lubricant spray. Rinse with a clean
damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
CAUTION: Do not use solvents stronger than isopropyl alcohol as it
might degrade the material or get through the valve and into the socket.
