When H.264 codec is se

lected, options specific to that codec become available in the “Video” ribbon.

 

RATE CONTROL

: VBR OR CBR 

Selects the encoder rate control mechanism. VBR (Variable Bitrate) means that the encoding bitrate can fluctuate 
within the bitrate statistical period. CBR (Constant Bitrate) means that a stable encoding bitrate is ensured within 
the bitrate statistical time. 

 

QUALITY MODE

:  LOW LATENCY, BALANCE, HIGH QUALITY
