Product Information
The Heat Control System is an optional feature that directs the convective heat generated inside the fireplace chase to an indoor or
outdoor location (see figure 1 below).

The system can be turned on or off independently of the fireplace. When on, a proprietary fan extracts heat from the chase via two
heat collector boxes and ducts it to the chosen location (see figure 2 below).

When the system is off, the heat is directed into the room via the heat release (see figure 3 below).

This feature is optional and is not required for the use and operation of any Ortal manufactured fireplace. It is approved for all
installations that are approved for Ortal manufactured fireplaces (single family homes, multi-family homes, commercial settings, etc.).
