MULTI-HANDSET USE
2.1 To register a new handset
Your original handset is already registered to your base unit. You can register up to
four more handsets to make and answer calls via the same base unit. Additional
handsets are supplied with a charge adapter for recharging their batteries.
You can also register your handset to up to three more base units.
Handsets are numbered 1 to 5 and base units are numbered 1 to 4
To register a new handset
* On the base unit, press and hold [PAGE] until the “In Use” LED (green LED)
is flashing
* On the new handset.
1. Press
2. Press and select “Registration”
3. Press the display shows
4. Press or key to select the base unit
number which has no tick (The ticked bases are
already in use)
5. Press button, the display shows “PIN Code?”
6. Enter the PIN code and then press (Default PIN is “0000”.
Please refer to section 6 for more information)
7. Display shows “Base Search”. Your new handset is searching for the base
unit
8. When the handset finds the base, the BaseID will be displayed
9. Press to confirm
Note: BaseID is the universal number of DECT.
Usually you don’t need to use it unless you want
to register your handset to the base unit of another
brand.
Note: For a weather phone which has not been registered to any base station
before, please do the following:
* Power up the handset by inserting the batteries
* Press the button, to select “Registration”
* Repeat from step 3 to 9 of the “To register a new handset” procedures
to complete the registration.
