7. Inspection table
7.1 Troubleshoot
If any of the following effects occur, refer to the instruction manual and take the appropriate action.
Effect Possible cause Treatment
Does not drive.
Driving clutch slips.
Driving clutch cable is stretched. Adjust cable.
Cable is damaged. Replace cable.
Belt slips.
Main clutch lever is “START” position. Move the lever to “WORK” position.
Belt is stretched. Adjust the tension of belt.
Belt is worn out. Replace belt.
Tracks slip.
Jammed foreign material in the track. Remove foreign material.
Too much amount of snow for one time. Remove snow in several times.
Being caught in something Remove obstacle or raise plow.
Rubber crawler is stretched. Adjust the tension of track.
Too fast for operation. Reduce the speed for operation.
An overload
Engine rpm is too low. Adjust the engine rpm.
Too fast for operation. Reduce the speed for operation.
Foreign object twined around tracks. Remove twining object.
Too much amount of snow for one time. Remove snow in several times.
Wet and heavy snow. Remove snow in several times.
Failure of transmission. Repair or replace transmission.
Does not stop

Driving clutch cable is stretched. Adjust driving clutch cable.
Driving clutch cable is damaged Replace driving clutch cable.
Failure of transmission. Repair or replace transmission.
Cannot change

Failure of the shift

Failure of transmission. Repair or replace transmission.
Engine does not start. The failure of the switch. Change engine stop switch.
Engine does not stop.
Failure of engine switch Replace engine speed.
Harness came off or is damaged.. Repair harness.
Oil filler cap came off suddenly. Too much amount of oil. Lubricate the right amount of oil.
