This section contains details regarding the batteries for the Oracle MICROS Tablet
700 Series.

LED Status and Behavior
The following table describes the behavior and status of the tablet’s LED when
connected and disconnected from the power supply.

LED Power Supply Status
Off Disconnected Battery is not charging.
Off Connected Battery is not charging; check
power supply connection.
On Connected Battery is fully charged.
Tablet 721P: On (orange
color) Connected Battery is trickle charging.
Blinking, Slow
(1 blink/second) Connected Battery is charging.
Blinking, Fast
(4 blinks/second) Connected Charging error. The
Troubleshooting sections
contains a list of possible
causes.
Blinking, Fast
(4 blinks/second) Disconnected Battery is removed for hot
swap. Install a new battery
within 3 minutes to avoid
power off.
Inadvertently pressing the
Battery Sensor when the
battery is removed disables
the hot swap capability and
causes the tablet to power off.
