(Optional) Preload the configuration stored in the named
configuration file,

-advance
(Optional) Perform the deployment, or run the Oracle Appliance
Manager Configurator, in advance mode. Use this option to
launch Oracle Appliance Manager and change the default user
ID or group user ID.
-h
(Optional) Display help for using the command.
Usage Notes
When defining the user ID and the group ID, it is a best practice to use different
values.

To run the offline Configurator with advance mode, update the

Example 14-9 Changing a User Group Name or ID
You can change the following group user names or IDs on the User Group Information
page: GI User, DB User, Install Group, DBA Group, DBA Oper Group, ASM DBA
Group, ASM Oper Group, and ASM Admin Group.
1.
Run the Configurator or Offline Configurator in
-advance
mode.
2.
Select Custom to display the User Group Information page.
3.
Change the group name or ID, then click Next.
4.
Click Finish.
