Usage Notes

The recovery window that is defined in the backup configuration determines when
backups are considered obsolete. The following are guidelines:

Example 13-28 Create a Backup Configuration for Disk
Create a backup configuration named
production
that backs up to disk with a 14 day
recovery window.
# odacli create-backupconfig -d Disk -n production -w 14

Create a backup configuration named

that backs up to NFS with a 2 day
recovery window.

to create and store the
