4. Installation and commissioning
Step 1:
Disconnect the system from the power supply.
Step 2:
Connect the power unit and mount it in the flush-mounted box.
CAUTION
– Optional protective cap!
The plug-on, transparent protective cap included in the delivery is used
to protect the installed device from dirt (dust, plaster, paint, etc.) during
construction and renovation work. The protective cap must be placed on
the installed OPUS BRiDGE switch, if the switch frame and rocker switches
are not mounted!
OPUS BRiDGE can be operated with the protective cap in place.
Step 3:
Plug the switch frame and retaining frame onto the
power unit and fix it in place using two screws.
CAUTION
– Screws for retaining frame!
Only use the self-tapping screws supplied to fix the switch and retaining
frames.
Tighten the screws by applying a maximum torque of 0.7 Nm.
Otherwise, there is a risk of damaging plastic parts.
Step 4:
Plug the control unit onto the power unit.
CAUTION
– Disassembly of the control unit!
To dismantle the control unit, place a screwdriver at each corner in turn
and lift off the control unit slowly and evenly.
Do not bend or damage the electrical
connection pins of the control unit!
Step 5:
Attach rocker switch(es) to suit local operation:
Series rockers
→
Wall trans roller shutter / louvre
OR rocker panel
→
Roller shutter/ louvre
Step 6:
Cancel voltage disconnection and configure the OPUS BRiDGE
individually using the OPUS ConfigTool, if required.
