configure interface < > 

 

 

 

 

 

configure interface <shelf/slot/port> lh administration disable  

configure interface <shelf/slot/port> sh administration disable  

These commands disable the ports, including long haul, short haul and INBAND. In the disable state, the port 

cannot receive and send packets. To enable the ports, use the ‘no’ command. Slot range is 1~16, and port is 

1~2. The default value is enabled.

configure interface <shelf/slot/port> lh name <”string”> 

configure interface <shelf/slot/port> sh name <”string”> 

These commands configure port name, including long haul and short haul. To set the ports name to default, 

use the ‘no’ command. Slot range is 1~16 and port is 1~2.

When the status of interfaces is LOS, this command enables Tx.
