possible image quality. Many displays also feature a built-in scaler unit – but these scalars are
not as sophisticated as the HD3000.
To Change the Output Resolution:
If your display native resolution is not HD3000’s default 720p, 1280x720, change the
resolution as follows:
Step 1:
Connect HD3000 to your display (see section 2.3) and power on the HD3000 and your
display.
Option 1
If your display is capable of 1280x720, the display will lock on to the output signal from the
HD3000. Press the menu button on the remote control and use the OSD (On Screen Display)
to change to your desired native display resolution. (See the Operation & Control section of
this manual.)
Option
If your display cannot lock on to 720p, you will not be able to utilize the OSD to change the
initial settings. In this case, use the front panel control buttons, and press the “
h
” key. This will
automatically start changing the resolution output from the HD3000. Press the button until you
find a mode that will work. Please remember to wait a few seconds between button presses
to allow for the HD3000 and the display to synchronize. Once a mode is found, the HD3000
will prompt you for a confirmation. All other setups will be done with the remote control, via
the Menu button.
Step :
If your display is capable of 1280x720
a) The display will lock on to 1280x720, and use the display scaler to scale to its native
resolution.
b) Use OSD to change to your desired native display resolution. (See the Operation and
Control section of this manual).
Step 3:
If your display cannot lock on to 1280x720
a) Using the front panel control buttons, press “ h ” key one at a time. Each pressing of
HD3000 (Dana: I don’t understand this?) will change its output resolution from the
table shown above. Please allow a few seconds for the display to try to lock on to the
changed output resolution.
b) Once the desired resolution is found, HD3000 will ask you for confirmation, or it will
return to 1280x720 default resolutions.
