The
“ Data Viewer ” panel is presented in Figure 19. It allows the user to load saved data and analyse
them in the software. The software saves the files in the TDMS standard format, which can be read by
many data analysis software and converted to other common formats (e.g. .mat).
In the Viewer user can load a recorded file
by pressing the “Load file” button located on the top right
of the “Data viewer” panel. The parameters of the opened file can be displayed by pressing the
“ Display params ” button. The viewer consists of two graphs: the top one displays the acquired signal
over time and the bottom one the frequency spectrum of the signal. The frequency spectrum is
calculated over a time window of the recorded signal. Such window can be modified by the user by
moving the two yellow bars located on the top graph. This allows the user to calculate and analyse
the signal frequency spectrum with very high resolutions (e.g. 100 s measurement will result in 10 mHz
resolution).
On the top right of the graph are located the controls that allows to scale and manipulate the
displayed signals and on the top left corner the user can choose which sensor signals to display. The
filtering options described in the previous section are available also for data imported from a file. The
