Wedge Interface
The HLT/ELT series Wedges have built-in
intelligence to connect directly to a personal
computer without the need for a separate decoder
box. Scanned bar code labels appear to the
computer as if the data was typed into the
keyboard. Normal operation of the keyboard is
unaffected. The WEDGE interface is compatible
with virtually any application program accepting
keyboard input.
