UNPLUG your computer power cable from the wall outlet. UNPLUG the
power cable for all attached devices, such as a printer, from the wall outlet as
well.

Remove your computer’s cover as described in your computer user’s manual.

Remove the cover from an empty 5

-inch drive bay as described in your
computer user’s manual.

To help you with the vertical alignment of your OnStream Digital Tape Drive,
two spacer rails are included. If desired, attach the spacer rails by sliding them
onto the bottom left and right edges as shown in Figure 5.
