5. Measuring Method
This section describes the measurement procedure combining the Ono Sokki DF-2200 On-Board Flow Meter or FM
Series Digital Flowmeter to the FP-4135 On-Board Volumetric Flow Detector.
5.1 Basic measurement procedure

Start measurement
• Assembling the measurement system means the
procedures up to connecting the FP-4135 On-Board
Volumetric Flow Detector to the DF-2200 On-Board Flow
Meter or the FM Series Digital Flowmeter using the signal
cables.
• Input (configure) the FACTOR value and the Flow Pulse
to Ono Sokki DF-2200 On-Board Flow Meter or the FM
Series Digital Flowmeter.
• Before pouring liquid into the FP-4135 On-Board
Volumetric Flow Detector, check again that the piping is
correct.
• Pour liquid into the FP-4135 On-Board Volumetric Flow
Detector.
• After checking the piping for any leaks before
measurement, bleed the air completely from the piping
and the FP-4135 On-Board Volumetric Flow Detector.
If the air is not vented completely, it might cause
measurement errors and/or fluctuation of the
instantaneous flow rate.
• After every preparation and procedure is complete, start
the measurement.
