OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Before first use

•  Remove all packaging materials from the appliance and dispose of them

responsibly. Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation hazard for babies and young

children, so make sure all packaging materials are out of reach of children.

•

Inspect the cord for damage or wear before each use. Do not use the heater if it

or its cord have been damaged or are not working properly.

•  Make sure the heater is disconnected from the power supply before attaching the

castor wheels to the bottom of the appliance. Use the supplied screws to attach
the wheel assemblies at a 90

˚

angle to the outermost screw holes.

•  Place the heater on a level, hard and non-flammable surface. Always choose a

safe location, keeping in mind the safety precautions on the previous pages.

•

The power supply cord is stored in the compartment at the bottom side of the

heater. Take out the cord, straighten it and plug it into a suitable 220-240V~50Hz

wall outlet. The red indicator light will come on, indicating the unit is plugged in and
is receiving power.

Heat settings

Your heater is equipped with three heat settings, as illustrated below:

O

OFF: no heating power is applied to the unit.

 I

Provides approx. 600W heat output.

II

Provides approx. 1800W heat output.

III

Provides the maximum 2400W heat output.

•

To achieve low heat output, or approximately 600W of heat from your heater,
turn the heat switch to position “I”. The second bottom element will now glow. In this
position, the element will glow continuously and, for safety reasons, it cannot be
switched off by turning down the thermostat.

•  To achieve medium heat output, or approximately 1800W, turn the thermostat

control (above the heat switch) fully clockwise to the maximum and turn the heat

switch to position “II”. The top three elements will glow, the bottom element will not.

•  To achieve full heat output, or 2400W of heat, turn the switch to position “III” and

the thermostat control to the maximum. Your heater is now running on full power
and all four elements will glow.

NOTE:

Low heat output, or 600 watts of heat, can also be achieved by turning the

heat switch to either position “II” or “III” and the thermostat control knob to
minimum (fully counterclockwise). Only the second element will then glow.
