Safe installation

• 

Do not connect the appliance to the mains voltage until completely assembled 

and adjusted.

• 

Do not place the heater in front of or immediately below a power point.

•  To avoid any risk of fire, do not place this heater near flammable materials, 

surfaces or substances.

•  Keep all objects at least 1m from the front, sides and rear of the appliance.
•  Do not use the heater in any areas where petrol, paint or other flammable 

liquids are stored, such as in a garage or workshop. 

• 

This appliance is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar 
outdoor and indoor locations.

• 

Do not use the heater while 

standing on a damp floor. Do not use it where

 it can 

fall or be pushed into water.

•  Do not use this appliance in a window as rain may cause electric shock.
• 

Do not use this heater outdoors or on wet surfaces. Avoid spilling liquid on the 
appliance.

• 

Use this heater in a well ventilated area.

•  Use the heater on flat, dry, horizontal surfaces only. Do not use it on soft 

surfaces such as bedding or soft carpeting, where openings may become 

blocked.

CAUTION

:  This heater is not suitable for use on long pile carpets or flokati 

(shag wool) rugs.
