Performing a blood glucose test

51

Fingerstick

Holding the meter at a slight angle, guide the channel to the blood drop.

When it touches the sample, the test strip wicks blood into the channel.

Channel

NOTE:

 When applying a whole blood sample from the finger, syringe or pipette, keep the meter pointed 

down to prevent blood from entering the test strip port.
