SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Lightning is attracted to metal objects, including the mounting rod of your
weather station, and could strike them. Never mount the mounting pole during
a thunderstorm.
WARNING
Danger of injury! Installing the weather station in a high place
may result in serious injury or death. Check as much as possible
from the ground or the inside of a building or your home. Only
install the weather station in good weather with a clear view.
COMMISSIONING AND SETUP
Before placing and installing all components of the weather station at their
destination, please set up the weather station so that all parts are close by to
test the correct function.
Setting up the base station and transmitter
Insert two AA batteries into the transmitter. The LED in the front centre of the
transmitter lights up for 4 seconds and then goes out. The transmitter starts
to work normally. The transmitter performs a data transmission and then
starts a radio-controlled time reception routine. If the time signal is detected
correctly, the LED starts fl ashing 5 times and lights up for 20 seconds, which
means that the time signal has been received correctly. If the time signal is
poor and no reception is possible, the transmitter terminates radio-controlled
time reception within one minute and resumes normal operation. When a data
transmission is taking place, the LED lights up for 20 seconds. No weather data
is transmitted during radio-controlled time reception. Normal transmission
is resumed only after the time reception routine has been completed. The
longest time for radio-controlled time reception is 5 minutes.
