Note
: Next to the antenna there is
an arrow symbol with the inscription
"WEST" (Figure 9). The sensor
body must be adjusted so that the
inscription "WEST" is aligned in true
west direction at your location. It
is recommended to use a compass
device to adjust the direction. A
permanent wind direction error will
occur if the outdoor sensor is not
installed in the correct direction.
Now look at the spirit level. The bubble should be completely inside the red
circle. Otherwise, wind direction, speed and rain values cannot be measured
correctly or accurately. Adjust the mounting tube if necessary. If the bubble
is close to but not quite inside the circle and you cannot adjust the mounting
tube, you may need to experiment with small wooden or heavy cardboard discs
between the sensor package and the top of the mounting column to achieve
the desired result (this requires loosening the screws).
Make sure that you check the western alignment as the last assembly step and
correct it if necessary, and now tighten the screws with a spanner.
Reset button and LED
Press and hold the RESET button (see figure 10) with a bent paper clip to
return the unit to its initial state: The LED lights up while the RESET button
is pressed and you can now release it. The LED should then light up normally
again and flash approximately every 48 seconds.
