Setting a source option
When a video source button is pressed like

beo4, a source option sets which input socket on
the TV will actually be accessed.

be programmed to open for a specific input
socket on the TV.
Programming is done by entering a 5 digit code:

Select source TX mode.

VMEM is the same button as VTAPE on older beo4.
DTV is the same button as SAT on older beo4.

Not all TV are equipped with all these sources,
and they may be named differently in the
documentation to the TV.
Source TX mode.
Sometimes it is required to release conversion of
beolink data to the TV, when a external source
is selected. If the external device itself is
controllable with beolink data.
Every source selection option is programmed
with its own TX mode option. This sets the
mode to transmit after a new source is selected.
Source selection modes:

Data will now be converted to control
TV, until next source selection.
2
Data will now be transmitted as non
converted beolink, until next source select.
