6.4 Optional function – safety zone
The safety stop works as follows:
1. Press the desk position button downwards / down (and keep it pressed).
The desktop moves to the start of the safety zone.
2. The movement of the desktop stops above the safety zone.
3. Press the desk position downwards / down again.
The desktop moves to the lowest desktop position.
Note:
It is not possible to save desktop positions in the safety zone!

Cascading 2 Controllers
2 drives maximum can be connected to one controller. To increase this number to 4, two controllers can be
cascaded.
1. To do so, 2 controllers must be configured with a parameter set for 3 or 4 drives.
2. The two controllers are connected with the RJ45 connecting cable.
3. Insert the desired hand switch into a free port.
4. Now connect the mains cable to the sockets.
5. After a reset movement, the configured number of drives will move up and down synchronously.
Attention:
Use suitably configured controllers without fail, since otherwise, the cascading is not
recognised and only two drives would move, which can result in jamming of the entire system.
