If an oscilloscope is not available, visually inspect the operation of the motor shaft or machine system.
If there is undershooting, the shaft will perform positioning in the opposite direction of the rotating
direction before the shaft stops as shown in the following illustration.

The amount of overshooting or undershooting varies with the rotational speed of the motor. Usually,
the higher the rotational speed is, the greater the overshooting or undershooting is. Therefore, it is
recommended that the Servo System be adjusted for the top rotation speed.
