NS Series Programming Manual 

Settings for Functional Object Properties

 

This section describes the settings in the Functional Object Properties Dialog Box for numeral display 
and input. 

 

 

 

General 

Sets the address and numeral display type and units.  

Text: 

Sets the text attributes for the displayed numerals.  

Background: 

Sets the background color for numeral display.  

Keypad: 

Sets the input method and display position and size of the keypad.  

Frame: 

Sets the frame display for numeral display.  

Max/Min: 

Sets the maximum and minimum limits for input. This Tab Page also sets the watch mini-
mum limit and watch maximum limit, as well as the colors displayed when the input 
exceeds the watch minimum or watch maximum limit value. (See note.) 

Flicker: 

Sets the flicker display. (See note.)  

Write: 

Sets whether or not a confirmation message is displayed when values are written to ad-
dresses. (See note.)  

Password: 

Sets whether or not a password input field is displayed when values are written to ad-
dresses. (See note.)  

Control Flag: 

Sets enable/disable input and display/no display for objects. (See note.)  

Macro: 

Sets macros that operate when values are input or address contents change. (See note.) 

Size/Position: 

Sets the object size and position. (See note.)
