The following is the exception codes when an error response occurs. Confirm this content and review
the request.
Example: Change IP Address
(1): Transaction ID
Specify any value. For example, 0000 hex is used in this explanation.
(2): Protocol ID
Specify 0000 hex.
(3): Number of bytes transferred
The total number of bytes of (4) and the successor are 11, so specify
000B hex.
(4): Unit ID
Specify FF hex.
(5): Function code
10 hex (Writing of multiple registers) is specified.
(6): Start address
Specify the register address of the IP address.
(7): Number of words to read
The IP address is 2 words (4 bytes), so specify 0002 hex.
(8): Byte count
The total number of bytes of (9) is 4 bytes, so specify 04 hex.
(9): Data
Specify 192.168.250.30 (C0 A8 FA 1E hex) as the IP address.
(3): Number of bytes transferred
The total number of bytes of (4) and the successor are 6, so 0006 hex is
set.
