Bridge Operation
(XPA 350/700/1000/1200/1800/2700)
In bridge mode, both amplifier channels are combined to one mono amplifier achieving the highest output
power at one speaker. The input signal of channel 1 is additionally switched to channel 2 in an inverted way.
Thus, the voltage at the output is doubled and subsequently the output impedance. A signal at the input of
channel 2 is ignored. The volume is adjusted with the control of channel 1 together for both outputs. For
bridge operation, use the red Speaker jack. Alternatively, the red screw connectors can be used: connect the
positive pole of the speaker to the positive terminal of channel 1 and the negative pole of the speaker to the
positive terminal of channel 2 (the positive terminal of channel 2 becomes the negative pole for the speaker
in bridge operation). Set the operating mode selector switch to
BRI
