INSTALLATION
• Install the device on a plane surface.
• Make sure that the power switch is set to OFF. Before you connect the devices, all units have to be
switched off.
• In order to obtain highest sound quality, only use high-quality cables for connecting the devices. Make sure
that the cables are properly fixed.
• You can connect up to 3 amplifiers to the MX-410. The output signal of the Master 1-signal can be adjusted
via the Master 1-fader. The output signal of the Master 2-signal can be adjusted via the Master 2-control.
The output-signal of the Booth-signal can be adjusted via the Booth-control.
• Master 1-output and Master 2-output can either be connected via RCA-sockets or balanced XLR mounting-
plugs. Due to the lower interference problems, we recommend to use the XLR mounting-plugs.
• Via the BOOTH sockets, you can either connect monitor active speakers for the DJ-booth or an additional
amplifier for creating a second zone.
• For recording, connect your recording device to the REC OUT-sockets. The REC OUT level will not be
influenced by the master fader. You can set the output level with the channel faders, the tone controls and
the GAIN control. On the front panel is an additional REC input.
• The MX-410 features one separately controllable microphone channel (DJ MIC). This microphone can be
connected via the XLR/1/4“ jack-mounting socket on the front panel accepting ¼" jack plugs and XLR-plugs.
With the Talkover-button, you can attenuate the level of all other signal-sources without affecting the
microphone volume.
• Additionally, the MX-410 features another ¼" DJ Mic jack plug on the rear panel. You can adjust the
microphone volume using the MIC LEVEL-Control. Pay attention to the settings of the LINE/MIC switch.
You can only use one DJ MIC at a time. If the rear socket is in use, the REAR MIC IN-LED on the front panel
lights up.
• The MX-410 features two ¼" Mic jack plugs on the rear panel. You can adjust the microphones volume via
the CH-3 and CH-4 faders. Make sure that the LINE/MIC-switch is set to MIC.
• You can connect up to 2 record players using the PH/LINE sockets. Use turntables equipped with MM
pickup cartridge. You can only control the record player signal after switching the PH/LINE switches to
PHONO. The signal is then controlled via the CH-1 and CH-2 faders.
• Connect your tape deck, tuner, CD/MP3-player or all other line signals to the LINE/AUX sockets on the rear
panel. You can only control the line signals after switching the PHONO/LINE switches to line. Now the signal
is controlled via the respective faders.
