4.3 Operating elements and connections of the CD receiver
General functions

Button
For switching on and off
2 Rotary press control VOL/SEL
• turn to adjust the volume
• press to select tone adjustment items, then turn to set
the values
3 Display
Indicates all functions of the receiver and information of
the CD, storage media, and external devices. The display
icons will be explained in section DISPLAY.
9 Button MODE
For switching between the sources tuner, CD, USB,
CARD, and AUX
10 Button REST
For resetting to default settings
18 Button LOUD
• short actuation: for selecting equalizer settings
• long actuation: for selecting the loudness function
19 Input AUX
3.5 mm stereo jack for connecting an external audio
device with line level.
20 Button CLK
• short actuation: for selecting the clock indication
• long actuation: For adjusting the clock
22 Button MUTE
For muting the unit
Tuner functions
5 Buttons ,
For station tuning
• long actuation: starts automatic station finding in
forward or backward direction
• short actuation: the received frequency is increased or
reduced step by step
8 Button BAND
For selecting the FM and medium wave reception bands

Button A/PS
Long actuation of the button starts the auto station
memory.
12 - 17 Station buttons 1-6
• short actuation: for calling the stations in the memory
presets 1 to 6
• long actuation: for storing stations in the memory
presets 1 to 6
