Precautions
To help give treatment:

ALWAYS
clean the Omnilux clear-U before
each treatment. Cleaning the Omnilux clear-U
ensures the best possible results by reducing
the risks of re-infection or cross-infection. See
the ‘Care and Maintenance’ section for details
on how to clean your Omnilux clear-U.
To reduce the risk of damaging the Omnilux
clear-U:
•
NEVER cover the air vents in the Omnilux
clear-U, they are provided for ventilation. Be
aware of objects, items of clothing or material
that may accidentally block the air vents.
•
ALWAYS
keep the Omnilux clear-U, its Wall
Power Supply, and cord away from heated
surfaces. High temperatures may damage
the plastic cases or the internal parts.
•
ALWAYS
unplug the Wall Power Supply
from the AC electrical outlet and refer to Photo
Therapeutics Inc or its authorized
representatives if;
• the Omnilux clear-U does not work normally
by following the operating instructions or;
• if it exhibits a distinct change in
performance.
Risks and Benefits
Omnilux clear-U is a medical device, which uses
blue light to kill the bacteria that cause acne,
and uses red light to help your body reduce
inflammation. Together they can dramatically
reduce the visible effects of acne.
The best results will be seen between 4 – 8 weeks
after you have stopped the treatment
. The light
stimulates natural processes that go on after the
treatment has stopped.
