Switching the OS 531 to the required mode
ATTENTION!
Before switching the mode, please perform or . Otherwise, the records detected in the
previous mode will be lost!
1. Access
Menu

Device Settings
>
Enable LMS Mode

2. To enable the LMS mode, switch on the
Enable LMS Mode
toggle. To the non-LMS mode, switch off this toggle.
9.2
(Non-LMS mode only) Creating a survey
When the OS 531 in the non-LMS mode, to conduct a leak survey for a site, you must first create the survey in the OS
531.
Steps:
1. Access

Survey Start

2. Enter the survey ID and site name.
3. Click
Create
.
4. In the
Confirmation
pop-up window that appears, check the
input information, and if correct, click
Yes
.
Note
: Before you have completed checking and specifying the
survey settings, do not start the survey by clicking
Start
. The
reason is once you start the survey, the currency unit cannot be
changed.

(LMS mode only) Downloading a survey from the LMS
As a technician, before you start to detect, download the survey information from the LMS.

: An OS 531 in the LMS mode allows only users in the technician role to log in for leak detections. For more
