Log size
1. Choose your work site with safety regulations in mind. Keep your logs ready at hand. Remove split logs from the work area.
2. Before splitting logs, sort out logs larger than 65 cm. If you want to split large diameter logs, it is recommended that they do not
exceed a maximum length of 40 cm. Always choose the appropriate height for the respective log length. Always use the locking
device to secure the table in the desired position.
3. Do not operate this log splitter at full load for more than 5 seconds.
Note: Never attempt to split fresh wood. Dry wood is much easier to break than fresh, wet logs.

1.) Serious accidents can occur when others are allowed in the work area. Keep all others out of the work area while operating
the control valve.
2.) Push the control valve handle forward with both hands to split the trunk.
3.) Push the control valve handle backwards with both hands to return the wedge to its original position.
4.) Remove the split timber from the working area.

Before performing maintenance, the breaker must be placed in maintenance mode.
1. Shut off the engine.
2. Move the control valve handle back and forth to relieve hydraulic pressure.

After servicing, ensure that all guards, shields and safety features are put back in place.
Failure to comply with this warning can result in serious injury.
Note: Refer to the engine owner’s manual for engine maintenance.

Crushing hazard.
The wedge can cut skin and break bones. Keep both hands away from the wedge and the sliding beam.
