Ideally, the assembled Spacer Blocks should be flush with the
bottom edge of the cabinet‘s 3” Face Rail to provide the least
amount of exposure of the Spacer Blocks once the unit is
assembled. However, as long as the Upper Ball Bearing Bearing
Slide when mounted on the Spacer Blocks can extend past the
3” Face Rail without making contact with the Face Rail, the unit
will work correctly.

Before mounting the Spacer Block in place, the Upper Ball Bear-
ing slide must be mounted to the Spacer Block in the correct
direction.
Extend open the slide approximately 5 inches. Position the Up-
per Slide so that the back end of the slide is 1/8" past the end
of the Spacer Block, and the mounting holes line up. Using the
2 #8 x 1/2" Flat Head Phillips Wood Screws from the Fulterer
Hardware pack, fasten the End Stop Tab and Slide into position
on the Spacer Block, the slide will be 3/8” behind the forward
end of the Spacer Block. Finish fastening the Slide down to
the Spacer Block by screwing the #8 X 5/8 Truss Head Phillips
Screws into the two holes below the large holes in the Slide.
With the slide attached to the Spacer Blocks the next step is
locating the center line of the cabinet and marking a line on the
bottom of the upper shelf. From this reference line mark a sec-
ond reference line 1 15/16” to the left or right of the center line.
The edge of the 3.875” wide Spacer Block will line up to second
line. While holding the Spacer Block against the bottom of the
upper shelf and also flush against the back edge of the front
cabinet rail, attach the Spacer Block with four #8 X 1 ¼ Flat Head
Phillips Screws by screwing into the 4” wide Spacer Block down
through the upper shelf, using the four predrilled clearance holes.
Verify the slide is perpendicular to the front face rail and is cen-
tered in the cabinet. Now you are ready to measure the actual
opening for trimming the Pull-Out Pantry to size.
We recommend the Spacer Block be attached with the 1 ¼”
length #8 Flat Head Screws through the top side of the shelf.
This will require that you locate the center line position of the
upper shelf and drill at least four screw clearance holes through
this shelf for the mounting the Spacer Blocks that will be posi-
tioned under the top shelf. These four holes should be drilled in
two locations 1” to the left and right of the center line of the cabi-
net. The holes should be clearance holes for the #8 size screws
(3/16” size drill). This will ensure the Space Blocks will pull up
tight against the bottom of the shelf when they are screwed into
place.
