Safety valve
The mandatory safety check of reliability and the setting of the safety valve are to be carried
out once a year by authorized personnel or by the Omega air service team. About the checks
and setting of the safety valves, a record is to be lead.

The compressor does not
start
No electrical energy supply;
Broken safety fuse or auxiliary circuit;
No voltage in the coil switch;
Thermal protection triggered;
The compressor is under pressure;
Pressure switch defect;
Check the outer protection and the
voltage of each phase;
Change the fuse and check for reasons. If
necessary, call the service;
Check the operation of the transformer;
Check the electrical circuit;
Check the coil operation;
Check the manometer and if there is
pressure adjacent, empty the pressure
tank;
Check the electromechanical operation of
the pressure switch;
The compressor stops due
to the activation of the
thermal safety switch
Motor overload;
Pressure switch defect;
Check the line voltage, overload on
different phases; thermal safety
regulation; Check the oil level and
quality, if overheating is involved, check
the performance of all parts.

The safety valve is sealed and very
important to the safe operation of the
compressor, so it is important to replace
it with a new one of the same type.
Hindered start-up of the
compressor and
occasional triggering of
thermal protection.
The electrical power on the clamps is

Un-configured thermal protection;
Abnormal resistance in the
compressor unit;
The electrical valve closes
mechanically;
Electrical current interruption;
Check the voltage. (max difference of 6%
considering the nominal value);
Reset the thermal protection, if the
operation is no more guaranteed.
Remove the belt and check the oil level,
normal operation of the compressor unit
and the motor;
Check the electrical circuit.
Efficiency of the
compressor is low or non-
existent.
The intake filter is clogged;
Loose or worn out belts;
Leakage at connections;
Mechanical irregularities on the
compressor unit.
Clean or change the suction filter
cartridge;
Tighten or change the belt;
Check the connections with the help of
soap water;
Check the compressor thoroughly with
the help of a service technician.
