5. MAINTENANCE
5.1
Once every 6 months check the presence of anomalies or oxidations by visual tests: in that case restore or
replace the lifting brackets or pins.
5.2
Once every 12 months check the cilindricity of the pins to notice eventual permanent deformations (see
Pic.7
): in case of deformation over 0,25 mm replace the pins.
5.3
Once every 6 months check the correct clamping couple of the screws according to values indicated on
the table.
5.4
In case of unexpected failure of lifting ropes/chains with a consequent overload on the lifting pins, check
their cilindricity (see
Pic.7
) to notice eventuaI deformations; in case of deformation over 0,25 mm replace the
pins; substitute the fixing screws and check the correct clamping couple of the screws according to values
indicated on the table.
5.5
In case of accidental impacts on the lifting elements during the lifting, handling and overturning operations,
check the cilindricity of the pins (see
Pic.7
); in case of deformation over 0,25 mm replace the pins; check
eventual deformations on the lifting brackets and, if noticed, replace them; substitute the fixing screws and
check the correct clamping couple of the screws according to values indicated on the table.
