Connecting the shaft
Before using the cardan shaft, read the user manual and the maintenance manual attached to it.
If the cardan shaft supplied with the machine is not used, check that the machine and tractor headphones overlap the car
-
dan shaft guard with at least the required size (5 cm).
Clean and lubricate the power socket.
If necessary, grease the cardan shaft according to the instructions given by the cardan manufacturer (see Manual for use
and maintenance of the cardan shaft).
Engage on one side of the machine multiplier by respecting the mounting direction prescribed by the manufacturer and indi-
cated on the outer cover of the guard, on the other on the power take-off of the tractor.
Hook the anti-rotation chains.
Make sure that the anti-shock wrench (button) is properly engaged and locked in its housing.
If the pivot shaft does not have a pushbutton lock but has a bolt, always make sure the bolt is snapped tightly.

Make sure the drive speed is selected before the p.d.p. drive, that the selected speed number coincides with the machine’s allowed RPM (1000
rpm). Stop the p.d.p. When lifting the tool or showing too large angles in the maneuver. The cardan shaft must always be connected to last p.d.p. Of
the tractor and disconnected first at the end of the work. “
Only use CE marking shafts for correct and safe operation of the machine.
Use only cardan shafts with unprotected protections. The length of the shaft must be appropriate to the type of tractor you
are using.
If a cardan shaft other than that provided with the machine is used, make sure that it is of adequate length. This means that
at the maximum extension time, the two shaft tubes must be at least 15 cm in length, and in the minimum extension time, the
two shaft hoses must provide at least 5 cm free light.
If these measures are not guaranteed, do the following:
• Remove the cardan shaft from the plastic caps;
• Cut them in order to obtain an adequate length;
• Cut the inner tubes of the same length;
• Remove any discoloration with a file;
• Grease the metal parts;
• Replace the plastic caps.
• When the cardan shaft is disconnected from the power take-off of the tractor it must always
• be supported on the appropriate support.

Hydraulic connections for opening the machine
The
BOLOGNA
crushing machine is a folding machine, which allows it to decrease its dimensions while moving. To allow this
movement, the machine is equipped with a simple effect hydraulic jack.
The drive of the jacks is entrusted to the tractor hydraulic outlets. Before connecting the quick couplings to the tractor distri

butor make sure that the tractor and machine side circuits are not under pressure. Make sure the quick plugs are locked in
their respective seats.
“Beware!
Check for any use of the machine that there are no cuts or abrasions on the hydraulic hoses to avoid the risk of injury due to the projection of pres-
sure jets and if they are to be replaced by others supplied by the manufacturer. “
Locate a leak, take all precautions to avoid accidents.
Pressurized liquids, especially oil in a hydraulic circuit, can cause serious injuries and cause infections: in case of accidents
consult a physician. As soon as the trimming is completed, the hydraulic hoses disengaged from the tractor must be placed
in the appropriate seats in the rest position. Before operating on the hydraulic system, stop the tractor engine and remove
the pressure from the circuit. To maintain the hydraulic system, use personal protective equipment
(Gloves, safety shoes, etc ...).
Do not dispose of exhausted oils and residual fat in the environment but dispose of them at disposal centers.
