4.7. Setting the 45-degree reference sample
(1) Raise the photometric head by using the focus knob to adjust the position so that the
outgoing beam’s vignetting does not occur.
(2) Set the 45-degree reference sample on the upper surface of the tilt stage.
Locate the 45-degree reference sample in the hole at the center of the stage.
4.8. Adjusting the position of the 45-degree reference sample
[Switching windows]
Switch the FOCUS window and the CT window by double-clicking the black portion of
the LIVE window. The FOCUS window or the CT window can be selected from the file
menu [Live].
(The FOCUS window is displayed when the software is started.)
Gently operate the tilt adjusters used for the tilt stage.
If you operate them with excessive force, it may become damaged,
necessitating replacement.
