8.2 Troubleshooting guide

MAJ-2307 INSTRUCTION MANUAL

Ch.8



Measure to be taken when an error code is displayed on the
monitor or the touch panel of the surgical microscope

If a code other than the error codes listed below is displayed, take an optimum measure by
referring to the instruction manual for the equipment used in combination with this instrument.
If an optimum measure cannot be taken, contact Olympus.

WLI image (still image) is not
displayed during IR
playback.

Switch to IR imaging mode again
immediately after switching from IR
imaging mode to WLI mode.

After maintaining for 4 seconds or
longer in WLI mode, switch to IR
imaging mode.

WLI image (still image) is
blurred during IR playback.

Operate the filter selector knob
immediately after operating the
microscope section.

Switch to IR imaging mode after the
vibration of the microscope section has
stopped.

IR playback images are not
played during IR playback.

External light strikes the observation
area.

Adjust external light so that external
light does not affect observation.

The setting of the video recorder is
improper.

Set the auto playback mode by referring
to the instruction manual for the video
recorder.

AF frame is displayed.

Wait until the auto focus stops and the
AF frame disappears before switching
to the IR imaging mode.

Center mark is displayed.

Switch to the IR imaging mode after
erasing the center mark.

Error message is displayed.

Take action according to “
